Description
This medication is a topical anti-acne medication containing a retinoid derivative (tretinoin) and a macrolide antibiotic. The retinoid reduces the thickness of the stratum corneum by facilitating superficial desquamation of the epidermis; the antibiotic works by destroying the germs responsible for the inflammation of the comedo and the formation of pustules.
