Description
HYDRA-HYAL CREAM-GEL targets dehydrated skin with fine lines, and moisturizes the skin all day with a long-lasting matte finish. A duo of hyaluronic acids [cross-linked + low molecular weight] restore the skin's ideal level of hydration and plump it up while preventing the fine lines and wrinkles. Enriched with a plant-based astringent active ingredient, the formula also aims to refine pores and mattify, for a flawless look. Cross-linked HA is like an internal filler. It is composed of a series of molecules connected to each other that forms a type of mesh that restores elasticity and recreates volume to fill wrinkles from within. This molecule is more compact, and more resistant to hyaluronidase, the enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Low molecular weight HA is a wrinkle smoother. Because it is very small, it penetrates skin deeply and plumps wrinkles. In the long term, it also stimulates the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid. HA naturally present in the skin has a very limited lifetime and must constantly be renewed. When HA breaks down in the skin, it fragments and sends a signal to the cells to restart production. Low molecular weight HA stimulates this mechanism and boosts the natural production of HA.
