Featuring an exciting new form of vitamin A, our serum works to exfoliate the skin, improving the appearance of sun damaged, aging skin. Active Ingredients Retinyl Retinoate: Retinyl retinoate has been shown in studies to induce less water loss (dryness) than both retinol and retinoic acid (AKA tretinoin- the active form of vitamin A available via prescription). In fact, retinyl retinoate was shown in a 2010 study in the Journal of Dermatology to produce hyaluronic acid, responsible for the skin’s plumped up, youthful look, at a rate higher than that of prescription-based retinoic acid. Coffee Berry: Antioxidant-rich superfruit that enhances collagen production & helps neutralize aging free radicals. Phytoceramide: Helps replenish the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Aids in moisture retention, leading to more plumped up, hydrated skin. Sodium Hyaluronate: The salt of hyaluronic acid (HA), sodium hyaluronate, has been shown to have better skin penetrating capabilities than HA alone.
