It leaves a nice cold sense for some time after use but first you should manage to wash it off. The package says to leave a thin layer on for 10 minutes and "exfoliate by massaging your face" and you're gonna need quite some time for that. I'd better try other peppermint masks, this one doesn't perform miracles anyway.
