Castor Oil

The characteristic feature of the castor oil plant is its bright red fruits. Slowly small, brown-patterned seeds ripen in them, from which our castor oil is extracted. The process is gentle and ensures that all important ingredients are preserved. Unlike the seeds, the toxic protein ricin is no longer contained in the oil. It is therefore also non-toxic for your body. Castor oil mainly consists of the colourless to yellowish triglyceride of ricinoleic acid and smells largely neutral. Depending on the harvest, it can develop a slight, typical scent. Rich in antioxidants, castor oil offers your skin protection against daily challenges such as UV rays or pollution. Valuable fatty acids keep the protective acid mantle in balance and gently soothe dry, irritated areas. By the way, castor oil does wonders for your hair roots. No matter whether eyelashes, eyebrows or scalp hair - the oil supplies your tiny hair follicles with targeted nutrients and thus strengthens your hair in the long term.
